Dear all,

I would like to kindly invite everyone to help me with evaluation of  
semantic and social solutions, which have been implemented in JeromeDL  
[http://www.jeromedl.org/].
This is a very important part of my research and I will be very  
thankful for your help.

The evaluation consists of a couple of tasks to be performed using  
digital library, and a couple of questionnaires, each to be filled in  
once the task is completed.
The evaluation apparatus consists of 3 components: JeromeDL (as a  
semantic DL), DSpace (as a baseline DL), and the evaluation web  
application [http://q.digime.name/], which will guide through  
aforementioned tasks and questionnaires.

When you go to http://q.digime.name/ and register there, one of  
digital libraries will be assigned to you.
The first questionnaire is to learn more about you and your experience  
with libraries and modern internet technologies.
The introduction task is to register to the digital library assigned  
to you, and get to know it better.
There are three main tasks during the evaluation - each time you will  
have to answer a question from the domain of internet psychology - to  
answer the question you should use the digital library, assigned to  
you, as it will provide you with articles related to the question.

JeromeDL users will be additionally asked to network with other users;  
in return they will be gradually presented with new (hopefully useful)  
features :)

There is a post-evaluation questionnaire once you are done with third  
question.

You can, and you are actually forced, to take long breaks between  
tasks - and **in the whole** - the evaluation should not take more  
than ca 3h :)

If you will be so kind, I will also contact you in a month's time with  
one more question (actually one of the three you will be asked now)  
and one questionnaire.  These will conclude the evaluation.
